Crew Photos from the Club Championship (sorry, Club ChampOINship, Normie) Day are now up under
Crew.
I've got more riding photos from both the CCD and Riverfest yet to put up.  Photo of the week has been changed.

Sunday, 8th May 2005
A whole bunch of photos from Riverfest are up under the
Crew page.  Head on over for a look.
Didn't get a chance to change photo of the week though... well done Richie and Mark... you get an extra day!

Sunday, 1st May 2005
A bit of footage for everyone has been captured to the trusty laptop from the championship last weekend.
About half way through putting it together.  New photo of the week is up tonight.
I'm waiting on a file from Trev, THE LAST ONE, so I can finish the XKR 2005 video.  It's close.... can you smell it??!

Don't stop visiting yet... the website's still alive !!!... I've just been a bit busy, or slack, or something....
We had 104 individual visits the other day... that's crazy!  No doubt there were a few hardcores who visited more than once that day, but all the same, it's pretty unreal !  I'm expecting to see more traffic from the USA and UK, as they're winding up for their riding season and everyone get's a bit excited.  Also, thanks must go to Chad Beery, from Kneeboarding Planet, who's given us our own special banner on their front page.  This is great for exposure!  Head on over and check it out HERE !!
And I guess you're all waiting to see the Winners of the Club Championship for 2005!!  Well. You'll have to hold tight until tomorrow... it'll be better to see the photos and results both go up at once !!

Wednesday, 27th April 2005
Technically I made this post on Thursday as well, but I put it under Wednesday so you wouldn't all miss it!
There's three boxes of new photos, that are old...  I mean, they're from January and before, but I've only just got them up.
Check them out right down the bottom of the page under
Photos.
(Sorry to all the poor buggers on dialup who have to wait awhile... I'll be reorganising that page soon...)

Friday, 22nd April 2005
Upgraded the Videos page last night... let's face it, they were all over the place.  Also deleted those two old clips for now (better footage can be seen in the preview anyway).  Just keep hangin' out for this years video, it is coming, and it's much better than the first, I guarantee.  Have been getting a few new members to the Forums from both the States and the UK, thanks guys!  Looking forward to this weekend...

Thursday, 21st April 2005
Sorry about the delay on the WIN News Video below last night folks.  She's all ready to go now.
A quick warning for dialup users, its about 4.84 MB, so it may take a few minutes.

Wednesday, 20th April 2005
Tonight, anyone living in the Riverland can check out XKR on WIN NEWS after 6:00pm.  We'll be on there following our spot this morning.  Thanks to Haydn, Mark, Richie, Bart and Normie for travelling down to Berri to do the spot.  Also, special thanks should go to Barton, for standing just off to the side of the camera while I was on and making as many obscene off putting gestures as he could.  Thanks faggot !!!  Did I screw up?  Did Mark stuff it for us all?
How much footage will they put to air?  I don't know at this moment, but find out tonight at 6pm.
For everyone else out of range of WIN NEWS, or from Overseas, or if you missed it,
you can check out the Airtime under
Videos.

Sunday, 17th April 2005 (#2)
Glad to see people are starting to use the Forums. If you aren't, you don't know what important information you might be missing out on.  Today I've upgraded the Club page.  Just makes things a little clearer as to who is what in XKR.   Sorry that the shirts and stubbie holders etc are gone.  They'll reappear soon, perhaps under a merchandise page or something.  They're still available in any case.

Sunday, 17th April 2005 (#2)
IMPORTANT and URGENT information for all members can be found in the Forums under Club Events for 2005.
You'll all need to go there and print and fill out a membership application for this long weekends Club Championship.
Cost is $20 per person, but hey, there's trophies and a perpetual cup involved!!!
Once you've filled out a form, I'm not sure what you need to do with it.   I'll leave it up to Barton to post a reply with instructions and any other details.
Any questions that you've got, please register for the Forums, and ask away !!

Sunday, 17th April 2005
Well done Mr. Barton Williams.  You're the FIRST registered user of the Forums other than me!!!  No posts of your own yet, but that's okay.  These things take time.  The rest of you.......what's your excuse HEY ???
We'll, I'm posting a whole lot of information on there later today regarding next weekends Club Championship, so you'd better get your butts into gear, and press the Register button as soon as you get there!
Otherwise, pretty soon you'll be like one of those losers who still doesn't own a DVD player or a mobile phone........CAPICHE ???!!!
(PS - For anyone thats just come to this site for the first time since the Forums were made.....  Hi!! Welcome to XKR.... Please join the Forums !!)

Saturday, 16th April 2005
It's late.....very late....and I don't know what I'm still doing up...
If you haven't noticed, I've put a fair bit of time into setting up some Forums which of course can be accessed at anytime from the menu on the left.  Have a browse around.  It may look a little lonely at the moment, but hey...so did the guestbook when it first started.  Wait until it takes off !!!  Long term, these will be extremely beneficial to the club in the way of correspondence, information and general discussion of kneeboarding.
The biggest favour anyone with an interest in kneeboarding can do for themselves is to GO OVER and hit the Register button.  You'll be glad that you did!

Wednesday, 13th April 2005
Have done some more work on the video, it's getting there....
Put the photo highlights from Riverfest 2005 under
Photos. The crew photos will be added soon...
There'll be some good ones taken at night in there (as those in Wags' boat would know!!)

Tuesday, 12th April 2005
The Riverfest 2005 demo was a great success; word has it the crowd loved the stacks as much as the tricks.
At least, that's what Haydn was told - that poor guy; he said he felt like such a loser.  At least he feels better now that he's on photo of the week.  There's stacks more photos that will be appearing under the Photos page and also the Crew page.
I'll keep you posted as they appear.  And there's probably enough footage now to complete Video #2.
In the meantime, you can still download a Preview below...

Saturday, 9th April 2005
What do we have here??  No, sorry, it's not the full movie, but it's a nice little preview !!!
Now Richie will stop bugging me.  To view it, take a look under
Videos
Once you've watched it, do us a favour and put a comment in the Guestbook, good or bad, I don't care....
If you don't, you won't be able to download the full version... well, actually, it's impossible for me to monitor that...
So just do it....

Friday, 8th April 2005
I kind of feel bad...... well, I kind of don't actually.  I've been on holidays for 2 weeks, and was sort of hoping the website would update itself................. but it didn't...so welcome back anyway.
You can keep visiting here often and expect things to change a fair bit like they did before.
The first thing I've done is put myself on Photo of the Week... hey, I couldn't find any other good photos !!!
I did consider renaming this section to "Photo Of The Fortnight" or  "Photo Of The 'When I Can Be Stuffed'"
but I've since decided to leave it as Photo Of The Week for now.
Well, this is all I can think of to change right now.  Nobody even went out that WHOLE time me and Rev were away; you should all be ashamed of yourselves....there's no good footage; and the next video is getting close to being finished.
I'll try and put a sneak peak up today sometime.... Richie has been bugging the hell out of me to see it...

[Update]
Thanks for everyones feedback...
Now have some examples of possible business cards on the
Club page.
More feedback please...!

It's all happening.  I've had a bit of spare time up my sleeve to get a few things done.
Firstly, there are a bunch of new photos under the
Crew page.  Also, there is a new format for old Photos of the Week.
To view the old ones, instead of the Slideshow (which seemed to take ages to load), you'll now be taken
here
(please continue to use the link above Photo of the Week to get there.)
Lastly, seeing that this is the week of our shirts and stubbie holders being submitted, I've posted them on the
Club page.
What are you waiting for, get in there and have a look.
All members, please send an email via the top of the page with some feedback.

Sunday, 20th March 2005
Alright, I've got a hold of Normie's Camera; have captured the footage onto laptop.  Unfortunately, it's late... don't think I'll be able to get the photos onto the website until Monday night.  See how we go.  Trying to get a bit of a slideshow together for Brad as well.  Changed photo of the week above... niiice...!
By the way, what the hell were we all doing today.... It was 34 degrees and sunny....!!!
[Update].... I've done it.  Check em out under
PHOTOS.... Geez I'm good to you guys...!

Saturday, 19th March 2005
2 things to report; (1) I've been busy and (2) Normies in Adelaide at the Clipsal 500 with his camera.
So in essence.... 1 + 2 = Not much happening on the website.
Sorry guys.  I know we're all looking forward to seeing last weeks footage.
In the meantime, the club shirts and stubbie holders have been progressing.  Something is always happening...
I've found out that we're able to heat transfer the logo etc exactly as it appears (shading etc), onto the shirts.
So next week I'll be taking the artwork into Tri State Graphics to place an order.
Keep an eye out, all members however; before the end of this weekend, you'll be able to view have a last complain about the final copies for the shirts and stubbie holders somewhere here on the website.  I'll keep you posted.
By the way, check above (next to Photo of the Week) for something I've come up with in about 10 minutes.
If we don't use it this year, there's always next year...

Wednesday, 16th March 2005
Loads of new shots are up under
Crew, which I added both today and yesterday.
You might have also noticed that the address for XKR has changed from 127 Murray Avenue to PO Box 3010.
It's on the top of every page.  Thanks to Wags for that.
Not much else to report; working on a laptop on the way to Waikerie every day is starting to make me feel sick.
I'm still waiting on Normies camera, for the footage of the weekend at least so that I can change Photo of the Week, which I'm sure you'll agree is getting REALLY ANNOYING after so long; who are those losers anyway??
[Update] I've just changed it... Sorry Shane, I'll whack yours up next week...!

Tuesday, 15th March 2005
Happy 18th to Brad Yates for today.  Welcome to adulthood - now give me my old ID back....
Added a slideshow for Shaun under
Riders.  Also added new profile photos for both  him and Brad.
Put up heaps of new shots under
Photos from a few weeks back.  Added some on the Boats page too.

Monday, 14th March 2005

Welcome boys and girls.  I'm writing this on my laptop on the job site in Waikerie.  Yes, for all of you who were wondering, I actually do carry my laptop around in my jocks all day, every day....
Friday night Shane rocked up to the Riverbend Caravan Park, followed by most other members to check out the new clubrooms poured floor.  Mick Lukey and Shane both took the opportunity for a board, the boat fully loaded each time, and Shane was able to give us a foretaste of things to come, bustin' out some layouts, huge backrolls, and without any warning, a massive fully off axis 540, with a nice smooth blind landing.  Watch out for the vid.
Saturday everyone was out, apparently, except me, and perhaps Trev, who was painfully battening out the club walls on his own with broken ribs.  So if anyone has a writeup on Saturday, [insert commentary here].
Sunday afternoon, again, the front lawn of Klaus and Mary's house was covered in people doing one thing or another.  First Brad Yates and Normie went for a 'special' single ski together, for what seemed forever.  Next up were Bart and I, with Bart attracting endless wolf whistles from girls on the bank with his ultra-sexy wetsuit helmet.  Both of us were in warm up mode, Bart still pulled off some huge backrolls and landed a wikkid mobe, but wasn't able to ride away from it.  Shane then took Barts place while I stayed in (c'mon, I hadn't been out for weeks!), and although he says he rode like crap, still pulled out the sweetest layout that any of us have ever seen.  The photo will be put on photo of the week above, as soon as I get a hold of Normie's camera.  And that's all for now folks.  In the meantime, if anyone has a Lowrider to give away to a good home...please call me...

Thursday, 10th March 2005
Well, it's done, and if you haven't already noticed, check your web address bar at the top of the page.
www.xkr.com.au  is now ours, however, going to any one of the old links will still get you here automatically.
By the way, clicking the link above takes you to an old intro page that I did, but never put up....try it...
I spent the better part of tonight transferring the website all over and getting things to work.
I've decided to redesign the Riders page to include slideshows next to each rider.
This will free up the Photos page to have highlight pictures of each weekend session that we ride.
So check back in a few days, and it should be done.
Unfortunately, the guestbook isn't working as of yet, but it will be done soon, for sure!
To give you an example of the CRAPLOADS of new photos I've got unpublished, see below...

Monday, 7th March 2005

For those of you who don't know, XKR will be hosting a 'guest' rider this weekend coming up...
Shane from Deniliquin, Come On Down !!!  This lad is going to show us all how to scratch his back with his board...
true layout style, he'll at least TRY his two backflips off a double up, plus more..... (the pressures on...!!!)
Either way we'll look forward to it, and presumably that's what most of us walking wounded will be doing.... looking!!
Shane'll rock up to the Riverbend sometime on Friday afternoon... (I put your name to a cabin for at least Friday nite mate).
Friday evening everyone who can will be catching up at the clubrooms after 5pm for a floor pour and a BBQ.
According to Mister Vagnitz, Saturday morning we're good to ride, as will probably be Sunday at roll-out-of-bed 'o' clock.
SATURDAY afternoon a lot will be heading over to
Hand PickedShould be a good few days either way!

Sunday, 6th March 2005
Another week has gone by without much to report; having about 50% of riders injured plus rainy weather didn't help!
For those who don't know, an XKR cheque account will be finalised this week, as well (hopefully) as xkr.com.au.
As soon as we have the website confirmed, stubbie holders AT LEAST are going IN !!!!
Had another spot on Riverland Radio Sports Show yesterday morning, which was short and sharp, but went well!
I've added more photos to the
Crew page.  Next meeting for the club will be Saturday 12th March.
If any members have any type of write ups or comments for this section of the website, please email them to me.
I'll do my best to get them up straight away!

Sunday, 27th February 2005

Mr Prez has sadly injured his ribs, (not in the last photo of the week), and has been doing some extreme resting !!!
He is currently under the good care of Dr. Nurofen, at the 'Lounge Couch' Hospital.
As a result, the
Club page has come a long way for one day.  Have a look.
If you're on the committee, download the Membership Application form and let me know what you think.
If you're new to this site and want to get involved, download it and sign the hell up !!!
New photo of the week!  Have finally moved the short video clips that were here over to the
Videos page.

Saturday, 26th February 2005
I've just been informed by our blonde long legged secretary (aka Wags), that our club constitution has been passed.
Today thus marks the beginning of an era for Extreme Kneeboarders of Renmark INC.
This now sets the ball rolling to immediately open a club account, finalise membership fees, purchase www.xkr.com.au
and also begin our merchandise printing (club shirts and stubbie holders).
I'm also beginning work on a
Club page for this website right now (12:00pm), but I do want to go for a board today.
So if it doesn't appear by this evening.... you'll know why...!

Tuesday, 22nd February 2005
Put some new photos up under the
Crew page.
The clubrooms renovation..... Cheq it...

Sunday, 20th February 2005
New photo of the week..... Isn't it bizarre though that Trev actually DID headbutt the board on the weekend!
Revmeister, we salute the new egg / doodle on your forehead !!
Another meeting yesterday yielded more club progress for those who weren't there.
There are also more photos to be posted soon from the weekend.
A big thankyou to Klaus and Mary at the Riverbend for the donation of the new club rooms.
Seriously though guys, there's no need to even touch them, they're fine as they are!
Shotgun the first crapper cubicle as my office....
Oh that's right, its all been knocked out now.... I would have known that if I was there.....
Seeing we are getting our constitution back this week, I'm serious about getting a separate page
on this site dedicated to club news etc.  Please check back soon......soon.....  not too soon....

Monday, 14th February 2005
Okay, Bart has emailed me his write up.... thanks mate.
Make sure you grab a cup of coffee before you read it;  it was far too long to put on this page.
As a result, you can simply read it by clicking the title below....
"Love hits Renmark prematurely....XKR rider expresses his love for the Lowrider!"
Wags, I've put up a bit of a slideshow for you under
PhotosAs soon as I get more shots I'll put em up.

Sunday
, 13th February 2005
I know, it's pretty sad when the last two posts are a week apart...  But we're alive, and have ridden today!!
Barton has a proper write up, which he'll be emailing me tomorrow hopefully.
I'm putting a new Crew page up, you can check out the progress as I go.
New Rider, Shaun Victory, an unofficial welcome to the club.
We will have to officially pass it at the next meeting though!  (Being a professional club and all now......umm)
And FINALLY, a brand new slideshow for Richie Milich, under Photos. 'Av a look !!
Wags, end of this week, yours will be up mate.  Sorry, been a bit scrapped for footage, but we've got enough now!

Sunday
, 6th February 2005
Well well well.  It's Sunday night and I'm tired.  Just quickly, the AGM was a great success.
I'll be putting up a page soon keeping track of the clubs progress etc (I know, all of these pages I've promised...)
Yesterday after the meeting saw most of us take a ride behind Wags' machine, starting off with Wags himself.
Next up was Yatesmeister (Haydn), followed by Sparky Marky and Richie, then Brett Dillon on his new Lowrider 05.
Last up for the night were the two Yatesy's (both on Lowriders, thanks to Brett).
And after my first experience on a Lowrider, I'd just like to take this opportunity to say...
"I won't be riding my Striker again..."  keep an eye out for the new photos.

Thursday
, 3nd February 2005
Only 2 days left until the "all in brawl" first meeting!!!  Bart is now able to make it, meaning ALL OF US will be there.  At this stage, it's Saturday, 10:00am at the Yates Residence (Murtho street, not Haydn's place).
I'll keep everyone posted just the same.  Two new Riders are up, Brett Dillon and Brad Yates !!!  [Update]
Unfortunately 'Mop Head' has had a bad fall while trying a 'Wake Cross' after mum said he could. He's in hospital playing Warhammer and watching Doctor Who.
Consequently, he is now out of the club... for all of time.

Wednesday
, 2nd February 2005
What the hell's going on with the weather !!! Adelaide had it's coldest February day in half a century.
As long as things warm up here for this weekend, we don't care !!
Have a look at a short clip (above) taken from Barton's write up on the 29th.

Sunday
, 30th January 2005
Biggup yourselves !!! Sorry for all you club loyals who check back here and haven't seen anything for a few days.
I've been sick as a dog, and also riding up in Murray Bridge with Rev !  Have got some good footage / photos to come!
Find Barts write up for yesterdays ride below, as well as a new photo of the week above.
Richie and Wags, your slideshows are in the works!   EVERYONE has new photos I haven't had time to put up !
And we have a new Rookie Rider in the works....... FAT DOG !!!  aka Brad Yates !!

Saturday, 29th January 2005
By Barton Williams....A New King Is Born..
Today I had the pleasure of taking Yatesy (Marky Mark), Richie Milich and Lukey riding. Departing @ 1pm and with additional ballast from "Normie injured non stop talker", and the chicks, Eboni & Kate, we headed out for a 4 and a half hour set! 1 board for 3 riders! Thanks Mark for the use of your board!
Well the new king of the kneeboard is young gun, Richie Milich, who is arguably the best spinner I have seen on the water, the Dan' Watkins of kneeboarding. Rich' through everything from handle pass wake 360's both ways to the smoothest front flips ever! Added to this he is not far off a 540 and that was off axis, I might add! This kid can ride! and to think two weeks ago he was ready to give it up! Not to be out done.....Marky Mark Yatesy landed some massive front flips and hammered his kidney's and ribs in attempted layout/raley's!
Lukey, after a 30 minute wait that was more like an hour, strutted his stuff with some massive air and mule kicks! Throw in some attempted handle pass wake 360's and the potential of this dude is huge! Too afraid to throw a flip, but jumps wake to wake as big JOSH SANDERS on a wakeboard......hell Lukey goes big! Look forward to seeing the big air transform into some aerial acrobatics!
The old fella even rolled one handed for the young guns, but just wasn't hitting as big! The fear of breaking Yatesy's board was overshadowing him! Overall a dismal day for me! Until next time, Hail the king Richie!

Wednesday, 26th January 2005
Riders fortunate enough to go out together today.... Wags, Yatesy, Yatesy, Normie and whoever else could fit !
That plus well over half a tonne in the ballast tanks made tricks... well.... easy !!
Bart, we saw you out there.... hope you were watchin.  Because whoever wasn't missed...
Haydn's Backflips + Wake to wake frontroll !!  Marks Layout !!!  Okay, it wasn't the cleanest one, but not too bad for first attempts!

Tuesday, 25th January 2005
Happy B'day for Wags for today.  28 Big ones, well done mate.  You get to have your special photo above !!
Put up some new Links today for the Kneeboard UK website, and also one for the Riverbend Caravan Park in Renmark.

Monday, 24th January 2005
New Photo Of The Week!!  Apologies to Bart, whose photo made it until this evening!  Next week I promise!
By the way, don't actually try and visit www.xkr.com.au yet.
[Update] Bart's just informed me that our club paperwork has arrived.

Saturday
, 22nd January 2005
Worth announcing... Rev is the proud owner of a new Lowrider... 2005 model... from Glascraft in Adelaide!!
I don't think there'd be too many of these baby's in Australia yet.  Check it out under the Riders page.

Friday, 21st January 2005
Listen up boys.  We've got a new rider, "Mannequin Man," and he goes hard....real hard....
Check him out under the Riders page.  Only the pros ride boards like these!  Unstoppable !!!

Thursday, 20th January 2005
A New Guestbook is up and running.... Make it worth my while and actually sign it someone !!  And it's official........ well okay, it's not... but Bart's sent off some paperwork to make this club legal.... or something.

Tuesday, 18th January 2005
Alright, got around to posting the new
Video this evening.  It's not totally new, but the new footage is worth it.  Look for the double ups !

Monday, 17th January 2005
Added a
Rider Profile for Richie Milich, got a new photo up for Wags.  Thinking about adding a new page on the menu....
"The Crew" basically with photos of everyone else who comes out with us.... so there'll be a few !!  New photo of the week.

Sunday, 16th January 2005
Nice boaring session for the better part of the day.  Thanks to Bart, who didn't ride, for the array of double ups!
Boarders today included both Yatesy's, Trev Telling and Richie Milich.  Everyone else seemed to be in Adelaide!
Video camera battery hit dead after about, hmmmm, 30 minutes, so not much footage unfortunately.

Saturday, 15th January 2005
Heaps of new slideshows, check them out under
Photos.  More to come still...

Thursday, 13th January 2005
Finally hunted down a photo of the infamous Barton Williams.  Put a new photo up for Yatesy (Mark).
Have some new snaps up and ready to be added to slideshows, when I get time.  See above...!
I think I'll call this..... Photo of the Week !!
Yes, okay, I had to put myself  up for the first one  !!!

Monday, 10th January 2005
New
Boats page is up (see menu on left).  Thanks for the photos Wags.
I'm still trying to get some sort of Message Board happening here... it will come.
Finally got a photo of Normie (also from Wags), put a rider profile for Wags.  Some new slide show photos...
Bart had a kneeboard on some river over in Sydney... hope you got footage mate..!!

Sunday, 9th January 2005
Finally we went out for a session!  Now I promise you'll see the edited footage on here in........ 3 months...

Saturday, 8th January 2005
Scope the new
Front Page; only cost a couple of bucks, literally! (like I'd know how to program that crap!)
Wags, hurry up and email us some photos so I can put a boats page up.  Same with you Bart, and Normie.

Thursday, 6th January 2005
Well, the
Photos page is up with a couple of slide shows, more to come.
Finished the
Links page, Contact page, and just finished off a bit.
You might be wondering.... do these guys ever actually go out boarding?

Wednesday, 5th January 2005
OK, the
Videos page is finally up and running, and it's got ONE WHOLE MOVIE on it !!  I know...... huge !!
[Update] Sorry folks, you'll have to request it by email for the time being.
I'm hoping to get this resolved by tomorrow.

Tuesday, 4th January 2005
Added a basic
Riders page on the left today, as well as worked on the River page a bit.
I know.... hurry up..... this crap takes time though !

Monday, 3rd January 2005
Well, this is the second post on this site, written before it's even been published it to the web.
Once again, just trying to fill up space.
